Care and Maintenance
For regular cleaning of solid phenolic resin countertops, just wipe with a damp sponge and soapy water, vinegar solution, or antibacterial surface cleaner. Then buff dry with a clean cloth. For stubborn messes, soak the surface in your favorite cleaner rather than scrubbing with abrasive pads.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrub pads. Do not cut directly on the surface. While these countertops are resistant to scratches, enough force with sharp objects can still damage the surface. These scratches could retain trace chemicals or bacteria. While solid phenolic resin countertops are chemical resistant, sulfuric, chromic, and hyrdochloric acids will damage the surface.
